Andy oversees eastern Washington and north Idaho projects from our office in Moscow, ID. He joined the Anabranch team in 2016 and has been a part of the Eco Logical Research team since 2011.

Andy’s work with Anabranch includes working with local non-profits, agencies, and private landowners to plan for, design, and implement low-tech process based stream restoration projects. His roles with Eco Logical Research include developing watershed assessments and conceptual restoration plans, and has been involved with protocol development and program implementation with the Columbia Habitat Monitoring Program (CHaMP), coordinating research efforts in the Tucannon River and Asotin Creek watersheds to assess the status and trend of fish habitat, and the effectiveness of stream restoration efforts.

Andy received a B.A. in Environmental Planning and Policy from Western Washington University in Bellingham and a M.S. in Watershed Science from Utah State University in Logan. He currently resides in Moscow, ID where he can be found enjoying the bottomless powder of the Palouse.
