Alex grew up in Chicago and earned his degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Dayton. While at Dayton, he helped manage and restore a six-acre solar prairie, an experience that sparked a lasting love for the outdoors and hands-on ecological work. Now based in Oregon, Alex enjoys exploring the region through birding, fishing, and snowboarding.

After a short but rewarding first season with Anabranch Solutions in 2024, he’s excited to return and continue contributing to the team’s restoration efforts.
