Cece moved from North Idaho to Bozeman in 2017 to pursue a degree in Environmental Biology at Montana State University, where she quickly fell in love with the wide open spaces of southwest and central Montana. After graduating, she worked in virology and invasive weed genetics, experiences that sparked a deeper interest in fieldwork focused on the conservation and restoration of streams and rivers.

Outside of work, Cece enjoys long trail runs, climbing, baking, and exploring new crafts—currently sewing and knitting.
