Commitment to Community

"All the science and best intentions in the world won't count for anything if people are not on board."

- ONE OF US ONCE SAID

People matter

Picture
We take the time to listen to the people in the communities we work with ,empathize with their situations and concerns, and roll up our sleeves and work together to find common ground and common sense solutions.

we invest in the communities we work in

We are committed to investing in the communities we work in. We do this by:
  • Donating our time and expertise to conservation causes and restoration efforts we believe in and want to support
  • Working with K-12 school groups to help get kids involved in low-tech process-based restoration
  • Delivering talks and workshops on our own time.
  • Serving on boards and committees
In addition, each year we choose at least one restoration project in our own communities that we donate our time, labor, materials to help make it happen.
