After earning her associate's degree, Madeleine spent a year working with the Conservation Corps, serving on trail and chainsaw crews across Colorado, Oregon, and Virginia. She later returned to school and recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Geology with a concentration in Hydrology. Her academic and field experiences have fueled a growing interest in environmental health, leading her to work in a microplastics research lab and consider pursuing a master’s degree in Public Health with a focus on environmental toxicology.

In her free time, Madeleine enjoys rock climbing, painting, and taking long walks in nature.
