Sam Bango is a dedicated water resource management professional with a focus on low-tech, process-based restoration. She leads LTPBR projects at Anabranch Solutions from design to implementation, overseeing restoration teams and logistics across Washington and Oregon to improve water quality and restore critical habitats. Sam’s past experience includes studying ecosystem responses to Beaver Dam Analogs and contributing to water resource initiatives with irrigation districts and non-profits in Central Oregon. As part of her work with Anabranch Solutions, she’s deeply committed to advancing sustainable practices that support watershed resilience.

​Prior to pursing a degree in Natural Resources at Oregon State University-Cascades, Sam lived in South America for two years learning both Spanish and Portuguese. When she’s not conducting fieldwork, Sam spends her free time mountain biking, backcountry skiing, climbing, and backpacking.
