watershed scientist

Scott worked for the Yakama Nation as a fish habitat biologist for over 28 years. During that time, Scott was involved in natural resource regulatory issues, watershed planning, habitat conservation and restoration. His true passion lies in habitat stewardship through implementation of low-tech, low cost restoration techniques. When Scott is not playing with wood in streams (which always invokes a smile) he is tinkering in his shop, hiking with family and friends, riding his bike (much slower than in years gone past), and wishing he could sing better.

Scott holds bachelors degrees in biology and science education, and a masters degree in environmental studies.
